Photo Backups: Keeping Your Memories Safe

When we take pictures, our cameras record to two memory cards simultaneously, ensuring immediate redundancy. After the shoot, we backup all camera cards to an external drive and then upload everything to the cloud. These backups remain in place until your photos are fully edited and delivered, providing multiple layers of protection for your images.

Backup Cameras & Gear

We come prepared with backup gear, including extra batteries, memory cards, and flashes. If needed, we also have access to additional professional equipment locally, ensuring that no technical issue disrupts your wedding day coverage.

Joshua Poe has learned from professional photographers around the world, from Yellowstone to Costa Rica, gaining insights and techniques that elevate his work. He is continually refining his craft, ensuring that every wedding he captures meets the highest artistic and technical standards.

Faster Than Normal Turnaround Time

A lot of wedding photographers have a 2-3 month turnaround time, and for good reason—the real work begins after the wedding is over. At Joshua Poe Photography, we take a different approach.

For every 1 hour of shooting, we invest approximately 3 hours in editing. With weddings typically lasting 4-8 hours, the post-production process can take anywhere from 12 to 24+ hours of editing. Despite this, we prioritize efficiency and quality, delivering your fully edited gallery in just 2 weeks.

Every Photo is Edited

Unlike many photographers who provide unedited images and ask you to choose which ones to have retouched, every single photo you receive has been carefully selected and professionally edited before delivery.

From color correction to exposure adjustments and fine-tuned details, we make sure every image is polished and ready to share. Your wedding photos are meant to be timeless, beautiful, and truly reflective of your special day, and we take pride in delivering images that you’ll treasure forever.
