This picture means a lot to me. In 2010 my family visited Anchorage, Alaska. I borrowed a DSLR to take on this once in a lifetime trip. I didn’t know much about shooting in manual setting at the time, but I was determined to figure what all of the settings did. That’s where this Eagle comes into the picture. I wish I could say this eagle was shot in the wild, but it wasn’t. This photo was captured at The Alaska Zoo. I sat for probably an hour taking picture after picture, adjusting everything from shutter speed, to aperture to ISO and how they each relate to each other. I’m very proud of this photo. This photo is a representation of my hands on learning.
